We are expanding!
Industrilas Group is expanding it's operation in Sri Lanka.
The intention is to increase production capacity as well as introducing in new processes to the operation in Sri Lanka. The factory area will increase with a new hall and more than 1400 sqm in increased floor space.
The factory is located within 20 minutes of the international Bandaranayke Airport and allows for efficient logistics to the neighboring industrial zones as well as to regional markets beyond Sri Lanka.
In a formal ceremony, where all of of the Industrilas Asia staff as well as landlords Ranjith Deegala and Thilina Deegala enthusiastically participated, the foundation stone was laid in place at exactly 9:34 a.m. on Thursday January 10, 2019. The time and day was carefully chosen by local experts to provide an optimum of positive energy for the new venture. Industrilas Group CEO, Mr Fredrik Molzer placed the foundation stone in its proper position and with good help of GM Mr Sugath Basnayke and Production Manager Mr Aruna Fernando, it was properly covered with concrete before regular construction commenced.
The event was celebrated with a festive luncheon, containing traditional Sri Lankan dishes and smiles in abundance. It is safe to say that the future of Industrilas Asia is in good hands considering all the enthusiastic team members that participated in the historic event.
